Loisia, yäk! Parasites yack!

Aulis on kapsutellut itseään lähiaikoina tavallista enemmän ja tänään huomasimme verta Aukan hännässä. Kävimme eläinlääkärin vastaanotolla ja selvisi että Auliksella on ulkoloisia, tarkemmin sanottuna hilsepunkkeja. YÄK, YÄK, YÄK!!!! Onneksi punkkeja ei ollut paljon ja ne eivät tartu ihmiseen, ihmettelen vain että mistä hän on ne saanut??. Aulis on ollut loppupäivän hieman reppana, koska hännästä ja alaselästä täytyi leikata karvoja pois ja tietenkin hänen häntä on kipeä ja arka. Voi raasua. Tässä kuva jonka otin äsken, Aulis väsähti autettuaan minua siivoamisessa. On kai sanomattakin selvää että siivosin eläinlääkärikäynnin jälkeen monta tuntia. Jos kuvaa katsoo tarkasti näkee Auliksen pipin hännässä.

Aulis has been scratching himself quite a lot lately and today we noticed some blood on his tail. I took him to see the vet and unfortunately it turns out that Aulis has parasites, some kind of ticks or mites, that is just TOTALLY REVOLTING. Luckily there were only few of the ticks or mites found on his fur and they do no live in humans.I just have to wonder where he got them?? Aulis was a bit poorly for the rest of the day because hair had to be shaven from part of his tail and his lower back, and of course his tail was sore. My poor baby. I took the upper photo just a while ago after Aulis calmed down after I finnished cleaning. I cleaned for hours after coming home from the vet, I felt so revolted. If you look closely at the picture you can see the shaven and infected spot on his tail.

Tässä myös pieni videonpätkä Auliksesta yrittämässä käydä unille, kutina saa hänet tosi hermostuneeksi ja levottomaksi, kuten pätkästä selviää. Toivottavasti kaikki palaantuu normaaliksi taas pian. ON vain harmittavaa ajatella että ressukalla on taas antibioottikuuri ja loishäätö edessä, koska hänellä vasta oli pissatulehdus ja hän sai matokuurin kaiken varalta. Noh ehkä tämän jälkeen Auliksesta on saatu häädettyä kaikki mahdolliset taudit ja loiset. Tässä vielä toinen kuva söpöliinistö untenmailla (vihdoinkin). =)

I also added this video clip where Aulis is trying to get some sleep, his itching tail and behind make him really restless and nervous, as you can see from the clip. I hope everythig gets back to normal soon. It is soo sad to think that poor Aulis just had a urinary infection and antibiotics for that and he also just got a worm medicine just in case he had anything and now this happens. Well hopefully after this there will be nothing wrong with him for a long ,long time. Here is a nother picture of the cutie, finally getting some well-earned sleep.
