Aikaa ompeluun meni noin 1 tunti. Yläpuoli on paksua maastokangasta ja alapuoli ja reunukset pehmeää ja lämmintä teddyä.
Tein takista hieman reilumman, jotta Aukin valjaat mahtuvat sen alle, takissa on myös reikä valjaiden lenkkiä varten.

Winter is almost here, and I decided to get ready for the cold weather. Last winter I learned that pugs and cold weather is not a very good combination, pugs need protection to keep warm. So I decided to sew Aulis a new jacket/coat so I found this easy but nice looking dog coat pattern from Martha Stewart.com The pattern in really simple and easy to make. I changed the material and form of the coat a little bit but the "idea" remains the same. So this is what you do: you mesure your dog, cut your fabric into a square, and make two straps , add four buttons and your done... Here is the link to the pattern ----> Martha Stewart Suede dog coat
Here you can find the video ---> doggie coat video
Above you can see Aulis showing of his new coat. It's still too warm to wear a coat this thick but cold weather will be here soon.
Here are to supplies I used: army fabric (denimlike), warm "teddy fabric" four buttons and an sew on army tagg. It took me an hour to make this. I made the coat a bit large so Aulis can use his harnes underneath the coat. I also made a hole on the top where the harness loop comes out.
